Function IsLLVM

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

Indicates if current project is compiled by "new" C++ Builder compiler (e.g. LLVM).

Unit

ELowLevel

Syntax

Code (Delphi)

function IsLLVM: Boolean;

Return value

True if project was compiled by LLVM Builder; False otherwise (e.g. compiled by Delphi or classic C++ Builder).

Remarks

This function is used to determinate if you are running under LLVM. This is useful if you need to take LLVM specifics into account.

Note

Note that this is not the same as compiler for units. For example, the unit can be compiled by Delphi, but be included/used in C++ Builder project. This function will return True for such case, while any compile-time check inside the unit will return False.
